At the IFMAR 1/8 Racing Car Pre-World Championship held on the island of Sicily between March 16 and 20 this year, Takaaki Shimo drove the new Evolva 2005 to a convincing victory! At the same event, Lamberto Collari also claimed the TQ with the same car, adding proof of the strength of the latest version of the Evolva. The Evolva 2005 takes 1/8th IC performance to new levels with such features as: -Eccentric cams on front and rear bulkheads allow bearing attachment structure to be added. Belt tension can be adjusted to eight different settings -Modified suspension arm structure is variable for short wheelbase. Width can be adjusted up to 3mm. -Revised position of front upper arm (shape of upper suspension bracket) has optimized geometry even further. -Wheelbase can be adjusted by simply inserting spacers. -An airflow chamber has been added to the underside of the fuel cap to maintain stable pressure from the muffler.
